Testimonies.

We love to stay in touch with our tlc families and hear how their adoption journey has been for them. More than 300 children have been adopted from the little children's home. We are happy to share some of their testimonies with you.

Happy "Gotcha Day", Pogi boy! (as they say in the adoption world). We call it forever family day around here. It was 1 year ago today that we gave birth through adoption a bouncing 4 year old boy! It was a both a beautiful and hard labor, but so worth it. God taught us so much about patience, His perfect timing for the good things He promises. The Lord definitely built my character a little more. So many delays but pressing on, knowing M was meant for our family. He was so brave to leave the loving arms of his TLC family (orphanage) and so eager to see what adventures lie ahead. I posted some fond memories and end with the drawing E made of our family meeting M for the first time. She drew this before we left and we claimed it for the day we finally brought him home. Adoption is a beautiful journey.

Ten years ago today I held my sweet Courtney for the first time, learning that motherhood is not about blood or genetics but choice, commitment, and love. I so often wish her birthmom could see what an amazing young lady she is growing to be: endlessly compassionate, dedicated, and smart. It is such an honor to be Courtney's mom; I am the lucky one in this deal. Adoption is indeed a beautiful mystery that makes beauty out of brokenness. Happy Gotcha Day, Courtney!
